REMINDER: The HTBC Young Riders will be hosting a Bar B Q at Campbell Valley Horse Trials on Saturday, August 14th. Tickets are only $15 and will be available on Thursday evening from 5 p.m.and all day Friday. BBQ Dinner to take place at 6:30 pm up at the big red barn. Menu will include Burgers and Smokies, Corn on the Cob, Salads and Dessert. Vegetarian options as well.

One lucky person who buys a BBQ ticket will win a Hit-Air Vest.

In support of the Young Rider Fundraising efforts, LR Equestrian and former BCYR member (Interior Youth Rep) Dana Cooke and Marcia Cooper (former BCYR committee member and mother of Dana) are pleased to donate one Hit-Air Vest (value of $389 USD) + 1 saddle strap (value of $15 USD) to the upcoming BCYR BBQ at Campbell Valley.  The package doesn't include shipping and handling or the air cartridge - the winner will be responsible for these. 

Once again BC is hosting the CanAm PNWT Challenge at Campbell Valley Horse Trials in August. Teams from BC and Area VII in the US will be competing against each other in the divisions of Pre-Training, Training and Preliminary. Riders who are interested in participating on one of the teams need to fill out the application form and send it in by August 4th.

The hotly contested "Unmounted" Games will be held after the cross country.

The winner of these games will take home the coveted "Golden Boot" and bragging rights.

Island 22 event has offered BCYR the opportunity to collect the recyclables at their event Sept 4,5,6th 2010. We have agreed to take this on as a fundraising effort.
All BCYR's who have received funding support ,as well as those who hope to in the future, are strongly encouraged to take part in making this effort a success.
